On 23rd September 2017, PANAHF held a screening camp at the PCEA Githima Church in Dagoretti. Ver two hundred patients were screened by our team over six hours. All the cases that were picked up have been contacted with follow ups being scheduled.
On 19th September 2017, PANAHF was invited to join Sigona Golf Club’s annual CSR screening. The 10-hour day saw over a thousand patients being reviewed not only for diabetes and hypertension but also cancer, kidney and nutritional issues among others. One of the key elements to successful implementation of this program is the continuity of follow ups and the patient’s adherence to their medication regime. This can only be achieved if the patient-clinician is a long-term relationship at a centralised location.
