On 19th September 2017, PANAHF was invited to join Sigona Golf Club’s annual CSR screening. The 10-hour day saw over a thousand patients being reviewed not only for diabetes and hypertension but also cancer, kidney and nutritional issues among others. All the cases that were picked up have been contacted with follow ups being scheduled.
One of the key elements to successful implementation of this program is the continuity of follow ups and the patient’s adherence to their medication regime.
