In August 2013, panahf held a fund raising film show that raised funds to operate on patients picked up during the kabarak screening. The event was the premier show of Chennai Express in Nairobi and received an incredibly positive feed-back, in fact the show was oversubscribed. It was also covered by a local magazine Asian Weekly which raised awareness about the NGO and its work in Kenya.
Due to its success, the panahf team decided to have an annual film show as one of its fundraising activities.
